Biography

Mostafa El-Sherif D.M.D., M.Sc.D., Ph.D.

Dr. El-Sherif graduated from Alexandria University College of Dentistry in 1979; he completed a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry in 1983. In 1990 he earned a Ph.D. in Fixed Prosthodontics and Dental Materials with joint supervision by Oklahoma University College of Dentistry and Tanta University.

In 1990 he chaired the Fixed Prothodontic Department (crown and bridge) in King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. In 1992 he was the Prosthodontic Consultant in King Khaled National Guard Hospital (Royal Family Hospital). In 1995 he received a DMD IS from Tufts University. He has 30 national and international publications in more than 5 different language in prosthodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has lectured nationally and internationally in Fixed Prosthodontics and Dental Materials. Dr. El-Sherif has improved the resin bonded bridge techniques, which is published under his name in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He also is the inventor of the Ceramic Cosmetic Anterior Reverse 3/4 Crown which is known as Dr. El-Sherif design and most of the dental schools nationally and internationally teach it to their dental students. He is chairman Emeritus of the American College of Forensic Examiners, President of the 21st Century Dental Study Club, member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry since 1983, vice president of the Tufts Dental Alumni, Board member of the Dental M Club. Trustee of Concord Hospital Trust ( Concord , NH ), Visiting Ass. Professor Fixed Prosthodontics Dept. Oklahoma University, College of Dentistry. Since 1995 Dr. El-Sherif has been in private practice in Concord, NH.
